Housekeeper – New York, NY – Part Time
Position Details: Part-Time, Live-Out
Location: New York, NY
Days: To Be Determined
Hours: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, schedule to be determined
Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, paid via W2 (on the books)

Start Date: October 1, 2026
A private residence in New York City is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the home to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have strong housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe care, and table service experience, along with the flexibility to adjust their schedule when the principals are in residence.
Main Work Duties:
- Perform general and detailed housekeeping throughout the residence
- Deep clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas as needed
- Vacuum, mop, and wash floors
- Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and steaming
- Provide proper wardrobe and garment care
- Maintain organization and presentation throughout the home
- Set and clear the table for meals
- Assist with meal service when required
- Provide general assistance to the principals while they are in residence
- Assist with occasional light cooking or meal preparation
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
Required Qualities:
- Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet
- Detail-oriented with high housekeeping standards
- Proactive and organized
- Flexible with scheduling
- Able to work independently
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Service-oriented and willing to assist where needed
Qualifications:
- Previous professional housekeeping experience required
- Experience in a high-end private residence strongly preferred
- Strong laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe care skills
- Experience with table setting and meal service
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and care of household surfaces and furnishings
- Comfortable assisting with occasional light cooking
