Housekeeper – New York, NY – Full Time

 

Position Details: Full-Time, Live-Out
Location: New York, NY
Days: Monday–Friday
Hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, W2 (on the books)
Start Date: October 8, 2026 

A private residence in New York City is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the home to a consistently high standard. The position includes detailed housekeeping, laundry, household organization, and occasional light cooking as needed.

Main Work Duties:

• Perform detailed housekeeping throughout the residence
• Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and household surfaces
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away
• Change bed linens and maintain bedrooms as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the home
• Monitor household and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs
• Assist with occasional light cooking or meal preparation as needed
• Complete additional household tasks as requested

Qualifications:

• Previous professional housekeeping experience required
• Private household experience strongly preferred
• Strong cleaning and laundry skills
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and household products
• Comfortable with occasional light cooking
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete responsibilities within the scheduled workday
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Strong professional references preferred
