This is a live out position

Job Details:
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Off weekends (September to June)
Tuesday – Saturday, 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Off Sunday and Monday (July to Labor Day)

Salary: $70,000-$85,000

Benefits: After one year employment: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid personal days, one week salary as end of year bonus. Salary and benefits assessed on a yearly basis. No health insurance.

Assist the caretaker in all work at the main house, boat house and property
Occasionally drive client to and from Greenwich shopping area
Occasionally drive client to the residence in New York City
Occasionally drive staff to do errands and to the train station
Mow lawns at main house (approximately 30 acres) and boathouse (6 acres)
Handyman knowledge: light repairs
Do errands
Handling special requests
Responsible for maintaining luxury vehicles and work carts.
All cars are to be kept clean inside and out and fully gassed for use at any time.
All vehicles to be maintained in pristine condition, prepped and ready at all times
Cleaning vehicles inside and out
Maintenance upkeep: oil change, tires rotated, multi-point check on all fluids including
coolant, windshield wiper, etc.
Full tank of gas in vehicles at all times

Must know how to navigate around Manhattan
4+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining large homes or estates.
Knowledgeable about landscaping and general property maintenance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to take proactive measures to ensure property upkeep.
Ability to operate machinery and perform basic repairs as needed.
Ability to lift and/or move heavy items, frequently up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
